The role of Infrastructure Engineer will sit in the newly formed Cox Automotive Enterprise
Technology Business Unit, which provisions Technology services to all Cox UK
Businesses and to some elements of the Cox Automotive International Business.

 

The Enterprise Technology Business Unit was formed in Quarter 4 of 2018, with a number of key objectives covering the delivery of enterprise wide services on behalf of the Business Units that make up Cox Automotive UK (Manheim, Retail Solutions, Next Gear Capital and Dealer Auction).

The key services provisioned span architecture, design, development, programme and project delivery, data solutions, security, service and operations.

Role:

You will be part of a collaborative team (internal and 3rd party partner) delivering Infrastructure operations and support across all business units within Cox UK.

Responsible for the operational integrity of Enterprise wide Infrastructure solutions, liaising and leading multiple teams to align technology Infrastructure with strategic aims and objectives.

Manage internal and external Infrastructure resources to ensure service delivery targets are met and safeguard infrastructure project deliverables. 

To work with the Technical security team (Internal and 3rd party) to ensure security as part of Infrastructure design, delivery, service and management. 

You:

You will have experience of transforming an infrastructure estate, delivering against infrastructure strategy and be able to deliver end to end services of Infrastructure solutions, from design through to operate. 

You will need demonstrable IT technical experience in a commercial setting with advanced Microsoft skills across azure, exchange, active directory and ms operating systems. 

You will have experience of managing virtual infrastructure and strong VMWare experience as well. 

Strong service delivery skills to ensure agreed targets are met and standards are achieved.
