The IT Team is a core element of the Manheim Remarketing business within the UK, leading on the development of new functionality and solutions to enable delivery of both business and client objectives and strategy.

Split across Programmes and Product Development and Service Management this is a fast paced and busy but exciting environment which is continually evolving and refining the way in which we approach delivery of new services and the tools we utilise as part of this process.

The team is engaged across multiple strategic work streams providing either development of integration solutions between Manheim and third parties or development of industry leading solutions through the utilisation of some of the latest technology and methodologies.

Role:

To develop, maintain and support .Net systems used within Manheim, working as part of a small team of developers, the role involves working with C#, MSSQL, Winforms, web technologies such as ASP.Net/MVC/JQuery. 

The role will primarily develop multi-platform applications within an agile environment alongside internal and external resource, there will be dependency to provide some support for our application suite. 

The leading of developers within a team, mentoring Junior Developers, and performing a technical lead role on projects may also be required.

Skills:

We need an experienced developer in .Net software development environment with strong technical skills in C#, MS MVC, SQL and XML.

In addition you must have a good understanding of SQL Server, XSLT/XSD, Javascript, Design Patterns and Web Services and it's desirable to have Azure, IIS, VSTS, REACT, .Net CORE, Active MQ, jQuery and CMS (Sitecore/Umbraco)

You will have demonstrable experience of showing leadership in large projects and have previous roles in technical leadership capacity.

We also need a successful track record of delivering sizeable systems development projects and knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
